The Lipstick League – Beauty Trends – Please Call it A Comeback!

Question of the Week: Name a beauty fad or trend that you want to see come BACK into fashion.

Answer: I liked the nude lip and smoky eye combo that seems to be less popular now. Now the trend is to put EVERYTHING into the forefront – bold eyes, bold lips, bold contour, and bold highlight. I’m guilty of going all in sometimes too. But I think in a few years, we’ll look back at our photos from this time and cringe!

I’m currently doing my part for the “smoky eye and nude lip” movement by reaching for two classic cruelty free makeup brands! The Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette is bursting with soft, blendable, smoky shadows for creating all sorts of looks, which all work perfectly with the polished nude lip from my Senna Cream Lipstick in Demure.
