I recently got a sneak peak of the new Be HairWorks by Shannon Tackett. It’s a new, cruelty free, 3-step system of veteran hair stylist, Shannon Tackett. It cleanses hair completely while repairing and restoring moisture and hydration from scalp to end. Shannon gave me a complete cleanse, cut and blow out. Here are the before and after pics:
BEFORE – split ends and build up galore!
AFTER – shiny, weightless hair!
Be HairWorks by Shannon Tackett removes mineral build-up, impurities and excess build-up on hair caused by product uses and hard water, leaving hair softer and cleaner. Each system includes three steps designed for once per week use for 8 weeks. Step 1: Purify, 8 oz, Step 2: Cleanse, 8 oz, Step 3: Deep Treatment, 8 oz.
It is a paraben free, cruelty free hair care system and it sets itself apart from competitors by complimenting current hair care regimens for softer, cleaner, shinier hair. Be HairWorks by Shannon Tackett can be used by women and men of all ethnicities and hair types and will work extremely well for those in areas with hard water. Price point starts at $48 for the three step 8-week regimen.
I noticed that some of the products contain dimethicone so I asked Shannon about it. This is her response:
“Dimethicone does have tendency, like most emollients, to build up in the hair. Utilizing a clarifier like Be HairWorks weekly prevents the buildup of these emollients..any product used daily will build up in the hair. Dimethicone used in my product is used to proved slip so that you can easily comb through the hair without tearing it. Using a weekly clarifier will prevent an excess buildup..but having a small amount in the hair is actually a good thing as it prevents breakage.”
