MAC makeup artist, John Stapleton, mentioned Sheswai Nail Lacquers in an interview I did with him recently, so I had to check them out for myself. They are cruelty free of course and free of toulene, formaldehyde and DBPs.
Sheswai (pronounced “she-sway”) has the coolest packaging. The caps are made from sustainably harvested wood grown on family-owned tree farms and the logo (golden with a tree and bird) represent “the freedom and playful nature of California that inspires us.”
The colors are really great – I tried a few Spring colors: Nice, Sugarkiss and So Cute. So Cute is definitely my fave since I love peachy corals. And, I’ve received quite a few compliments on the color.
The formula is a little thicker than I’m used to so you could probably get away with one coat (2 shown in the pics above). These aren’t the longest-wearing polishes I’ve ever tried, but I love the colors, the fact that they are 3-free, the packaging and the philosophy, so I would definitely buy again.
What do you think? Would you wear these shades?

Wow I had never heard of this brand of polish before! I'm glad someone pin it so I could check them out. How many do colors do they offer do you know?

I really like the look of these polishes – the bottles are just beautiful and your swatches look super pretty too. Really like sugarkiss. But they're a bit of a pain to get hold of in the uk and quite expensive so I'll have to keep on wanting for now! 🙂 xx

these colors are really pretty, and I usually prefer thicker polishes.

I'd wear those colors. The fact that they are free of so many potentially-harmful chemicals is another big plus. They seem so glossy in the pictures, did you use a top coat?
