Hi! I’m Nikki from Nik Makeup Junkie and I’m going to share a super quick and easy makeup look with you today. I’m very excited to write this post for you; Jen is the first cruelty free blogger I ever discovered and one of the biggest inspirations on my cruelty free journey. I still turn to her for advice on a regular basis.
Let’s talk about the makeup look! It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s perfect for spring. In the spring, I prefer more dewy makeup looks and that’s what I went with for this one, so here’s how I achieved that and the products that I used to get this look.
As always, prep your skin. I started with clean, hydrated skin. Make sure you give your moisturizer time to sink in—at least 15 minutes.
STEP 1: Apply Urban Decay Self Adjusting Primer. This primer creates a soft-focus effect on your skin that masks flaws.
STEP 2: Apply the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation with a damp Beauty Blender. I use a light amount to get a medium coverage without the foundation looking heavy since I have drier skin. I don’t need to set this, so I don’t use a powder.
STEP 3: Using your fingers, a stippling brush or a dampened Beauty Blender, apply the Pixi Glow Booster to your cheek bones and anywhere else you normally apply highlight. We will be applying a powder highlight on top of this. If you don’t have the Pixi Glow Booster, the Becca Liquid highlights or NYX Liquid Illuminators are a great alternative.
STEP 4: Using the Pixi Beauty X Maryam Maquillage Contour Palette, contour/bronze your skin. I also used the brush that came with this.
STEP 5: I used the Pixi Beauty X Aspyn Ovard Rome Rose Blush on my cheeks for a sheer glow, it’s similar to NARS Orgasm, just much more sheer.
STEP 6: Apply the Pixi Beauty X Aspyn Ovard Santorini Sunset Glowy Powder using a fan brush to the high points of your face, anywhere you applied the liquid highlight.
STEP 7: Prime your Eyelids. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion. Set that with any light toned eyeshadow.
STEP 8: Using the Pixi Beauty X It’s Judy Time Eyeshadow Palette, apply your eyeshadows.
The shadows I used were all on the left side of the palette. I took the second shadow from the top and applied it throughout my entire crease as a transition shade.
I took the third shadow from the top and applied it about halfway through the crease.
Lastly, I took the bottom shadow I applied only on the outer corner.
I did the same on the lower lash line.
STEP 9: I applied Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin all over my eyelid and in the inner corner.
STEP 10: I used Urban Decay Perversion Mascara on my eyelashes.
STEP 11: I forgot to picture my eyebrow gel, but I used the Esssence Make Me Brow Gel in my brows.
STEP 12: Apply Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in the shade Naked.
STEP 13: Spritz your skin with Pixi Beauty Glow Mist.
And you’re done!
It seems like a lot of steps, but it’s easy to accomplish. I like how it turned out, and I hope you do, too!
I hope you like the look and thank you for reading!

I’ve never used Pixi products but I keep hearing about how great the Glow Mist is and I’m really tempted to pick it up and give it a try.
