Too Faced Melted Latex Lipstick Swatches and Review
If you’re getting tired of the extreme matte lip trend (raises hand!), Too Faced has a new line of extreme glossy liquid lipsticks just for you! The new Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks are not for the timid!
The formula is very pigmented, super glossy, and thick/sticky like a gloss. The colors give lips a little bit of stain as well. I had to use Dermalogica Precleanse oil to get the swatches off, but with the oil, they were easy to remove.
They have the high shine that LipSense plus Glossy Gloss has, but with just one product and without the burn (they are not as long-wearing though). I haven’t bought MAC in ages, but they remind me of MAC Lip Glass from back in the day.
Basically, if you are comfortable with bold colors and heavy glosses, you will love these. If you prefer major pigment with a non-drying liquid lipstick feel, I would stick with the Melted line of lipsticks.
Let’s take a look at the colors. There are fourteen colors, plus clear (Girl on Top) and a shimmery topper (Unicorn Tears – not pictured).
Too faced Melted Latex (L-R):
Peekaboo – soft pink nude
Love U Mean It – coral pink
Rated R – bright warm pink
Safe Word – light, cool pink
Love You Long Time – dark, cool pink
But First Lipstick – fuchsia pink
I’m Bossy – classic blue red
Too Faced Melted Latex (L-R):
Hopeless Romantic – warm nude
Strange Love – chocolate brown
Bite Me – deep vampy red
Twilight Zone – bright lavender
Bye Felicia – cool purple
Hot Mess – pink berry
Can’t Touch This – dark plum
In the pic above I’m wearing Love U Mean It, which is one of my faves – a pretty coral-pink shade.
The Melted Latex lippies are cruelty free and formulated without parabens or phthalates. They come with a slanted doe foot applicator for easy application. You can find them at Sephora or Ulta for $21 each.

I think my daughter or sister would like this line. It’s way to heavy and glossy for me. And Lipsense burns??? I was seeing it all over Facebook for awhile but never tried it.

Yeah LipSense has alcohol and other ingredients that dry out your lips and burn. It really does last but there’s a cost!
