WEN by Chaz Dean Treatment Oil
Summer may be over in some parts of the world, but not so much in Los Angeles! Rarely do I come across a treatment oil for hair that has such a delicious scent. Like, SERIOUSLY delicious. So when I was sent WEN Summer Mango Coconut Treatment Oil I was in for quite a treat. WEN is one of those hair care lines you always hear about, but because it’s not sold in stores, you really have to take the plunge to try it. It’s cruelty free, and promises to cleanse and nourish, and strengthen the hair without harsh chemicals you would find in a typical store-bought hair care line.
Besides the amazing tropical summer scent that this oil provides, I was excited to find out that it has multiple uses beyond just making hair look and feel great. It also can be used as a bath oil, or body oil to moisturize the skin as well. I typically use this treatment oil after I step out of the shower and run a few drops through my long, fine hair. Regardless if I heat style my hair or have it up in a ponytail for the gym, it needs added protection. Hair needs nourishment to save it from breakage and split ends by keeping it in top top shape.
I also used this as a body oil by adding a few drops to the body butter I use after my shower. I already love using body butters but this made it into the most decadent smelling butter to rub my legs down with. I even rubbed some on my preggo belly because I love the scent all over.
While I was lucky enough to test out this limited edition scent (sorry, bunnies, I didn’t realize until too late), WEN produces a variety of scents for all their products, that are all amazing and will make you want to buy multiples of them, such as their Fall Tuscan Pear, or Apple Spice. I imagine coupling the treatment oil with a cleansing conditioner that gives your hair a fabulous feel to it! Talk about yummy! I only wish I nabbed the Summer Honey Peach version when it was available!
You can purchase WEN products through QVC.com which has great customer service and a return policy in case something doesn’t work out for you, (but hopefully does)! How many of you have tried WEN products? Which were your favorite and what worked best for your hair type? Share in the comment section below!

I like coconut smell, coconut oil .Besides, coconut oil is great for skin and health. It is packed with vitamins that nourishes the hair and help them with their growth.

Definitely want to be careful with Wen. People who have used it for a long time notice that their hair starts to thin out because the oils in it suffocate the hair and follicles so moisture can’t get in. This starves the follicle of the moisture and nutrients that it needs to work properly and kills them. There have been some pretty severe cases of hair loss with these products. The first couple of washes with it smooths the hair out and looks great but using it for longer than a couple of months destroys your hair.

Wen is a good haircare brand – I’ve been hearing a lot of positive reviews from friends 🙂 It’s great that they’re offering a coconut oil product line.
@Melissa Louise – that is some serious stuff! hair loss with Wen? Has this been reported to and investigated by Wen? I would definitely like to know before using this hair product.
