Question of the Week: What is the one winter essential that you keep with you at all times?
MY MUST HAVE CHAPPED LIPS PRODUCTS
I don’t go anywhere without my Dermalogica Nightly Lip Treatment. It’s not cheap, but it really is one of the only chapped lips products that have helped the winter lip flakes that I get so easily. My lips are always dry but especially dry during the winter. I can even put it on the edges of my lips to hydrate and prevent lip lines, and it hasn’t made me break out (woo hoo!).
I also love to use Lanolips at night, but I’m careful to keep it away from the corners of my lips so it doesn’t make me break out (lanolin could be an acne trigger for some people). So far, no acne issues with Lanolips, but I have noticed that coconut oil makes me break out like crazy around the lips and on my face! I love to cook with coconut oil, but I won’t put it on my face.
What are some of your favorite chapped lips products? Let me know in the comments below!

That highlighter definitely sounds like one that I have to try! Have been looking for a new good one for forever.

Lanolips has lanolin in it? How is that cruelty free?

The product that has worked for me the most is the Glossier balm dot com. It is so good! Highly recommend it.

I haven’t tried much from Glossier yet but I hear they are good!

Hi Marie – lanolin is derived from sheep’s wool. The Australian sheep are not harmed for the wool, and they need to be sheared regardless of if the lanolin is used or not. The product is cruelty free but not vegan. If you’re vegan, you should not buy it.
