The new long lasting foundation from Senna Cosmetics, Lasting Illusion Foundation, gives great medium-heavy coverage. The satin matte finish gives you a glow without making you oily or shiny. It erases imperfections, won’t settle into lines, and looks FLAWLESS on skin.
The swatch above (L-R): Alabaster, Buff, Sand, Golden Beige, Beige, Tan, Chestnut
I have a warm/yellow skintone, and even though the Alabaster looks like the best match in the pic above, I find it whitens me a little too much. The Buff is a better color for me, and it has a great finish when blended out, so it doesn’t look too dark. I always blend into my jawline and finish with a good setting powder.
The foundation contains dimethicone, which gives a flawless appearance, but may be too much for oily/acneic skin on an everyday basis. I have a tendency to break out hormonally, and I am okay with dimethicone-based foundations as long as I don’t wear them every day. Read more about dimethicone here.
I love Senna Cosmetics, and if you haven’t checked them out yet, give them a look. Definitely high end, quality products.
