Looking for cruelty free shoes for the Spring? Sometimes vegan (AKA non-leather or animal skin) shoes can be ugly or uncomfortable. Not the case with these brands! They come in all price ranges – from lux to budget. Check these babies out!
These are the most comfortable, green patent “leather” flats from Blake Brody. How cute are these? I can wear them when I’m out shopping at The Grove or farmer’s market, or running errands around town. These ballerina flats are called “Kate” and come in several colors – all with faux leather.
Blake Brody also makes in-studio footwear for dancing, ballet, pilates, etc. There’s even one called the Jennifer!
These vegan flats by Naturalizer are designed by HGTV’s David Bromstad. The “Clara” is a closed toe flat with a floral design (comes in blue or cream). These would be great with a casual dress, jeans or leggings. They are super comfortable (they are Naturalizers after all), and they give a little pizazz to your outfits. I’m use to wearing all black shoes every day, so I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone (pun intended!).
Through May 3rd, you can enter to win a day with David Bromstad or a $100 Naturalizer gift certificate! Enter here.
Also – don’t discount the wonders of Payless. Yes, the shoes tend to not last as long, but they have many styles that look great. I get compliments from fashionistas all the time who have no idea I got them from Payless. And they are SO comfortable! Check out my faux tortoiseshell pumps – I love them!
