Jen Fall Hair Makeover by Patricia Lynn Laas

Fall Chocolate Brown Hair Color by Patricia Lynn Laas

Question of the Week: What fall beauty product are you looking forward to the most?

I’m excited for EVERYTHING this fall! I am not a summer girl at all. The fall is my favorite season – cooler temperatures cannot come soon enough! I love jackets and leggings and PSLs (actually I prefer chai lattes with almond milk if we’re being honest). I’m looking forward to all the holiday collections from my favorite cruelty free beauty brands. And, I look forward to darker vampy hair and nail colors. It may still be hot here in Los Angeles, but I went ahead and got my darker hair on!

I went to see my hair whisperer, Patricia Lynn Laas, at her salon in Beverly Hills for a cut and color. She gave me a rich, dark chocolate color, cut off the fried ends, added a few long layers, and styled it perfectly. I’m always disappointed when I have anyone else style my hair. She knows exactly how to style it so that the curls fall perfectly around my face, and they last longer too.

She always uses cruelty free products, and she will happily go the extra mile to make sure something is cruelty free before she uses it on me. If you go see her, tell her Jen from My Beauty Bunny sent ya. She’s in the Salon Republic on Wilshire in Beverly Hills. She just moved to a new suite – #48. You can find her online and you can see pics of her work on Instagram.

Your hair looks amazing! I also love the fall and am looking to get a refresh on my hair. Do you know what cruelty free dye your stylist uses?

I love both looks on you, Jen. The dark chocolate is beautiful! I know what you mean about hating to get your hair cut by someone other than your preferred stylist. I had one when I lived in NY. I could just go in and say “Cut it” and leave completely satisfied. I’m still looking for “the ONE” now.
