The Lipstick League – week of 1.2.17
Question of the Week: What tool do you most often use to apply your foundation? Brush, sponge, fingers or…?
I absolutely cannot live without my makeup sponges! Seriously, how did I even apply makeup before I had these babies in my life? They are an absolute staple in my makeup collection and I never even travel without them. My go-to sponges are the original Beauty Blender for my foundation (have you seen my post about the best cruelty free foundation?), and the small sponges from the elf Precision Sponge Trio for my concealer. The Beauty Blender is super soft and gives my foundation a perfectly-blended, airbrushed appearance. The elf sponges are a lot firmer so they allow for smooth but precise application of concealer.
What about you? What do you use?
Note: Not all Lipstick League posts are cruelty free.

I use my fingers to apply foundation and I think fingers work just fine too.

Fingers work too! That’s all I used for many years – now I can’t live without my blenders!

I use my finger to apply foundation. I even applied brush n sponge. But I still feel finger is the best way and the easiest way to apply foundation. It blends perfectly.
